California State Preschool Programs are funded through the State of California in cooperation with the ABC Unified School District. Programs are designed to meet the needs of preschool children ages three to four years old (by September 1st of the current year) from low-income families as well as children with diagnosed disabilities that meet the income requirements. In an effort to provide high quality preschool programs the California Department of Education and the Office of Child Development establish the guidelines for service eligibility.

Program Enrollment

  • Proof of residency in the form of a utility bill (gas, electric, water, and trash)
  • Birth certificates/records for applicant and all other children in the same family
